Here at The Roseland Academy Science Department, we are enthusiastic about our subject and whilst proud of our achievements we are always looking for ways to develop and improve. We respond positively to new initiatives and share good practice, ideas and resources. Our high expectations of all our pupils and ensure that each pupil achieves their potential by using a wide variety of teaching techniques to accommodate individual learning styles. Students regularly say that science is one of their favorite subjects.
We are very well resourced with 5 purpose built laboratories and a central preparation room with full time technicians. We are in the process of upgrading our projectors to interactive high definition TV screens based on students feedback and have a full suite of 32 Chromebooks solely for science use. The Science Department is an exciting and rewarding place for both staff and students to work.
